British American Tobacco South Africa opens its doors to support more than 51% black owned Exempt Micro Enterprises and Qualifying Small Enterprises who can offer innovative solutions to our business.
In line with British American Tobacco’s (BATSA’s) objective to be a key partner in transforming the tobacco sector in South Africa, and in accordance with the requirements of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003, BATSA has launched the “Be Supplier” program with the aim of providing opportunities to Exempt Micro Enterprises and Qualifying Small Enterprises who can offer innovative solutions to our business.

It is simple! If you qualify for the programme (as specified above), you are invited to confirm your business’s registration by completing the form available here , and set out your proposed business offering there. We will from time to time evaluate registered business solutions against our business needs and determine whether there is a synergy between the two. Selected companies will be asked to present their solution to our business and will potentially form part of our internal procurement database.
